JetBlue Airlines Creates App That’ll Make Planning Group Trips Easier

JetBlue Troupe App

JetBlue is aware that planning group trips aren’t so easy. The airline has launched an app that’ll help the process.

The free app Troupe was designed by the airline’s subsidiary, JetBlue Travel Products, to make group travel planning seamless, interactive, and a collective effort, Travel + Leisure reported.

The app allows multiple users to plan a group trip together and eliminates needing one person to manage the whole process.

“Anyone who has organized a vacation with a group of friends or family knows that getting everyone to agree on details can take the fun out of travel planning,” Andres Barry, president of JetBlue Travel Products, said in a statement released Wednesday.

Travelers can also use Troupe to work together to narrow down dates, destinations, accommodations, and activities as a group under one platform. And even though it’s a group effort, a user can still suggest ideas for different parts of the itinerary, which others can comment on. Eventually, the group can make the final selection for all the trip’s details by using the app’s voting function.

Once everything is agreed upon, RSVPs for the trip can be managed in the app, and everyone can access the itinerary in one easy-to-access place.

“There’s no denying that planning a vacation for a large group can be overwhelming, especially when everyone’s requirements are different,” said Alexandra Zubko, Troupe’s CEO. “Troupe was designed to make group trip planning fun, not stressful, and working with JetBlue Travel Products to bring this product to life was a no-brainer.”
