Jim Jones took to his social media to launch into a tirade after a shopping spree at a Gucci store didn’t go as planned.
Jones and his entourage expected a first-class experience while waiting in VIP quarters at a Gucci store but the customer service left them feeling neglected and ignored.
In a video shared on his Instagram, a visibly frustrated Jones detailed his experience, explaining that he and his entourage were taken to the VIP area but after that, no one came to help them for upwards of an hour.
The Harlem-born rapper complained that no one at Gucci offered water or champagne, and when they asked for assistance, a Black man was sent to them but he didn’t appear to be very helpful.
Jones and his crew were ready to drop $29K at the store but no employees made themselves available to make the sale.
“And just like tht sh*t went bad in gucci. I was more hurt tht the black people was treating us like tht more thn anything,” he wrote in the caption that accompanied the clip. “Very racy and all we wanted was some water sparkling water cause I was parched to be been shoppin for a long time I’m usually drunk by time I leave stores like this cause they be servin tht Champaign smh [face palm emoji].”
In the end, Jones took his money to the Louis Vuitton store.
