Jodeci’s 35th Anniversary Tour Kicks Off, but Will These 5 Iconic Songs Make the Setlist?

Jodeci is hitting the road this weekend to celebrate 35 years of their groundbreaking debut album, “Forever My Lady,” with a tour that kicks off Saturday, October 24, at The Masonic in San Francisco.

The legendary R&B group will head to YouTube Theater in Inglewood on October 25 before continuing across the country with stops in Las Vegas, Detroit, Chicago, Houston, Atlanta, Miami Beach, and more.

According to Jodeci’s official tour website, the anniversary run, originally announced with 36 dates, now includes an additional hometown performance at Ovens Auditorium in Charlotte on December 20, following the previously scheduled December 19 concert.

The tour celebrates the 1991 album that introduced K-Ci, JoJo, DeVanté Swing, and Mr. Dalvin to the world. With their gospel-influenced vocals, passionate delivery, and signature blend of hip-hop and R&B, Jodeci helped define the sound of an entire generation.

According to Rated R&B, “Forever My Lady” produced three No. 1 R&B singles, including “Stay,” “Come & Talk to Me,” and the title track. The group’s success continued with “Diary of a Mad Band” in 1993 and “The Show, the After Party, the Hotel” in 1995.

While an official anniversary tour setlist has not been released, the group has already hinted that performances could change from night to night.

Speaking with PEOPLE in September, Mr. Dalvin explained that putting together the perfect setlist means balancing fan favorites while allowing room for spontaneity.

“Our show kind of changes every night,” he shared.

That leaves plenty of room for fans to dream about which records will make the cut.

Here are the five Jodeci classics we need to hear on this anniversary tour.

5. “Freak’n You”

Released on the group’s 1995 album “The Show, the After Party, the Hotel,” this seductive slow jam remains essential to Jodeci’s catalog. Its unmistakable opening and sultry vocals could turn any venue into a massive singalong.

4. “Cry for You”

Few R&B records capture heartbreak quite like this one. Featured on “Diary of a Mad Band,” “Cry for You” gives K-Ci and JoJo the opportunity to showcase the emotional delivery and powerful harmonies that made Jodeci unforgettable.

3. “Feenin’”

The moment those opening notes hit, the crowd knows exactly what’s coming. “Feenin’” remains one of the group’s most recognizable records, blending raw emotion with the unmistakable production that helped make Jodeci a defining act of the 1990s.

2. “Come & Talk to Me”

This is the record that practically demands audience participation. Whether fans prefer the original or the remix, “Come & Talk to Me” deserves a major moment during the anniversary celebration. The chemistry between the group’s vocals and the smooth production still holds up 35 years later.

1. “Forever My Lady”

There is no better song to anchor this anniversary tour. The title track represents the beginning of Jodeci’s legacy and remains one of the group’s most beloved love songs. Hearing thousands of fans sing every word while the group celebrates 35 years would make for a fitting finale to the night.
