Joseline Hernandez Blames “Love & Hip-Hop” Fall-Off On “Nobodies” And Smaller Paychecks

Joseline Hernandez may be far removed from the “Love & Hip Hop” universe, but the Puerto Rican Princess still has strong feelings about the show’s ending.

During a recent chat with the “We In Miami” podcast, Joseline was asked how she felt about “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” coming to an end after 13 seasons.

“It was honestly getting so boring and it was bringing so many nobodies on there,” she stated bluntly. “Like, you got a bunch of random people that don’t nobody knows…when we first started doing ‘Love & HipHop,’ of course you had me, you had K. Michelle…you had some big stars on there.”

According to the “Joseline’s Cabaret” founder, the network no longer had the budget to afford bigger names, which resulted in smaller salaries. Joseline says this was something she never had to worry about during her tenure on the show.

“I just feel like ‘Love & Hip Hop’ kind of fell off just because they, first of all, they couldn’t keep affording people like myself to come work. Back in those days, I was making $50,000 an episode.”

Despite the hefty paycheck, Joseline walked away from “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” during the taping of the Season 6 reunion. She described working on the show as “dancing with the devil,” which was something she could no longer justify.

The entire “Love & Hip Hop” franchise will conclude with a six-part limited miniseries titled “Love & Hip Hop: The Final Chapter,” airing later this year.
