JT is betting on herself this year with her debut mixtape “City Cinderella” nearing its release and a tour to celebrate.
On Tuesday, the QC rapper revealed that she would be heading on the road beginning August 20th in Kansas City, Missouri. The 21-city trek will conclude on September 22nd in Los Angeles, California. Tickets are slated to go on sale this week, and it seems her supporters can look forward to hearing her 16-track “City Cinderella” mixtape live. As of now, the world has already been introduced to singles such as “No Bars,” “Sideways,” “Okay,” and the newly unveiled “Okay” remix featuring Jeezy. It’s unknown what other features, if any, will be included on the project, which will be released on July 19th. The album is a turning point for the City Girls founder, as it is her first solo body of work since the duo split earlier this year.
When the news began to spread across social media of her first headlining stint, JT’s fans, who she refers to as her “Juvies,” couldn’t contain their excitement. The Miami native has not shared whether any guest appearances will be joining her on the road, though judging by the current climate of touring, it wouldn’t be surprising if JT announces an opener. Either way, “City Cinderella’s” entire rollout has been iconic, with a live show sure to live up to her impressive musical run.
