JT is certain about her future with Lil Uzi Vert.
In her recent Cosmopolitan interview, she made it clear that marriage is not a possibility she’s considering; it’s something she fully expects.
“I’m not married yet, but we definitely are going to marry each other,” she said. “That’s my best friend. That’s my dog. Uzi is such a cool person.”
Their relationship began in 2019, and JT says the years since have shown them just how strong their bond really is.
“We’ve been growing together,” she explained. “We just look at each other and are like, ‘Damn, we really cool. We really know each other. We really can exist and still like each other.’ It’s beyond love.”
Before they ever met, she already had a quiet admiration for him. While serving time in prison, she came across his photo in a magazine.
“I remember I had a magazine of Uzi when I was in prison… he had these two braids going to the back. I thought he was the coolest person ever,” she said. “But did I think that six years later I would be dating him? No.”
As for how she envisions the proposal, JT has specific expectations. She wants the moment to be tasteful and distraction-free.
“It cannot be nobody with no ugly outfits. It can’t be nobody standing in the way with too many phones. It needs to be very elegant,” she said. “I need to have soft glam, short nails.”
While the wedding hasn’t happened yet, JT’s words leave no doubt about where things are headed.
