There is a new development in a paternity case involving NBA veteran Amar’e Stoudemire.
Back in August, a woman named Quynn filed suit in Florida seeking permanent child support, maternity expenses and custody, saying Stoudemire fathered her child while he was married. Stoudemire responded at the time that he had already been paying a monthly stipend for the child, along with legal fees from an earlier case in Massachusetts that was dismissed.
Now, according to Bossip, a Florida family court judge has signed a judgment naming Stoudemire as the child’s father. The judgment, reportedly issued last month, states that he is the natural and biological father. Bossip also reports that the two sides reached a confidential agreement on custody and child support, so the terms are not public.
