Judge Mathis thinks Ashanti should take legal action against Irv Gotti for spilling details about their past sexual relationship.
During last week’s episode of “Drink Champs,” Irv revealed personal information regarding his previous relationship with Ashanti. During the interview, he made several allegations, one of which was that Ashanti’s song “Happy” was written after they had sex.
On Monday, Judge Mathis advised Ashanti to issue Irv a cease-and-desist letter or gag order. He claims he’s unsure of the validity of Irv’s statements but says Ashanti should take legal action if she feels she is the victim of defamation.
Since the Drink Champs interview aired, Ashanti hasn’t spoken out publicly about her relationship with Irv, but it’s obvious where the Judge stands.
