TMZ reports that a federal judge has ordered prosecutors to disclose the identities of the three alleged victims in Sean “Diddy” Combs’ federal sex trafficking and racketeering case—though only to his legal team.

According to a motion filed by Diddy’s attorneys on March 6, his defense team requested the names of the three anonymous accusers and witnesses mentioned in the U.S. Attorney’s Office’s indictment. The government’s case, filed in the Southern District of New York, refers to them only as “Victim 1,” “Victim 2,” and “Victim 3.”

Diddy’s legal team argued that they needed the information as soon as possible to prepare for trial, which is now less than two months away. In response, the judge ruled that prosecutors must provide the names to his attorneys by March 10, but under an “Attorney’s Eyes Only” designation—meaning the identities will not be publicly disclosed at this time.

So far, Diddy’s legal team has identified “Victim 1” as Cassie Ventura, given that the indictment references the infamous 2016 hotel surveillance video showing Combs assaulting her. His lawyers also believe the other two alleged victims are former girlfriends.

Despite the court’s ruling, a gag order remains in place for the case, which means the victims’ identities may not be revealed to the public until trial—if at all. If the judge decides to close the courtroom during testimony, the accusers could remain anonymous even throughout the proceedings.

Diddy has continued to deny all allegations, maintaining that his past relationships were consensual.
