Tyrese has caught a break in his legal battle with his ex wife, Norma. According to TMZ, a judge has denied her request for a permanent restraining order and Tyrese will share joint custody of their daughter starting in January.
Norma had asked for the order after accusing Tyrese of physically disciplining their daughter. That accusation led to a child abuse investigation, which was reportedly dropped earlier this month.
While the case played out, Tyrese posted a series of emotional videos about missing time with his daughter and money struggles. In one of them, he claimed Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith had offered him financial help. A rep for the couple said that claim was false.
Tyrese has not been accused of any crime in connection with the case. We will keep you posted if anything else develops.
