On Wednesday during NYFW, actress Julie Fox was seen struting down the streets of Manhattan with a lifesize black “body bag” by Toronto-based designer Mikhael Kale.
According to PageSix, the life-sized vinyl creation is more like a soft sculpture than a satchel and is 6 feet tall, weighing 3.5 pounds.
For added realism, the body bag sports a platinum blonde wig and platform boots similar to the ones Fox is photographed wearing.
Kale said in a statement, “Seeing Julia Fox wearing my pieces is a dream come true; she was a muse of mine for this collection.”
Fox said that compared to her corpselike bag, the Hermes Birkin bag she received as a birthday present from Kanye West last year was way more “scary” to carry.
