Juvenile isn’t letting American Airlines off easy after they tried to downgrade him from first class to coach.
The rap legend took to Instagram Live to let fans in on the drama. “Y’all hear this? They trying to kick me off the plane. They trying to take me off of first class,” he said, visibly heated.
Juvenile and his wife, Shadonna Jones, were already settled in their seats on a flight from New Orleans to Dallas when the flight attendants delivered the bad news.
His wife, however, was not asked to move. “I’m his wife, so how can you downgrade him, and I could still stay?” she questioned.
Meanwhile, Juvenile wasn’t about to take the switch quietly. “You ain’t going to put me in no coach. This ain’t never happened to me in my life,” he fired back. “I’m a celebrity. There’s going to be repercussions for this because I’ma get off the plane. I’m not going to let y’all disrespect me like that.”
Instead of switching seats, Juvenile and Shadonna decided to exit off the flight. As they deplaned, Juvenile made his final statement, saying, “Out of all the people on the plane, y’all done picked a celebrity.”
American Airlines later claimed it was all an automated process, but Juvenile wasn’t buying it.
In a second Instagram Live video, he said: “F–k American Airlines. All the money I spent with you bitches. They gon’ try to put me in coach, motherf–ker? I ain’t never flew coach. I feel played.” He didn’t stop there, adding in the caption, “I feel played @americanair y’all gonna bump me to coach after I’m already in my seat??”
Juvenile made it clear, he’s not about to let this slide without a fight.
