K. Michelle showed up to the BET Honors in Washington, DC on Saturday with Bobby Maze by her side, but the “Buy a Heart” singer had already said just two weeks earlier that the two were no longer together.
According to comments she left on The Shade Room’s page, K. Michelle told fans she does not date Bobby, who has been described as an overseas baller, and asked people to stop attaching her name to posts about him. She said she wants to focus on her music and stay in a positive light. In a follow up comment she wrote, “I walked away and ended this relationship because it was fake and unhealthy.”
You may recall that K. Michelle and the mother of Bobby’s child had a bit of back and forth early in the relationship, so the drama is not brand new. We have not seen a public response from Bobby to her comments.
Here is where it gets confusing. If she ended things two weeks ago, why was he escorting her down the red carpet at the BET Honors? Only K. Michelle and Bobby know the answer to that one, and we will let you know if either of them says more.
