Put those hopes of seeing #KanyeWest headline the Coachella stage on hold, as the #Yeezy Boss has pulled out of the show over disagreements.
In typical Kanye fashion, he wasn’t budging on what he wanted for his 2019 set design and festival producers weren’t letting up, either.
Goldenvoice took on the role of running this year’s musical festivities. Creative heads came together to figure out the blueprint for Ye’s performance on the general 60×40 foot stage that everyone uses. However, that wasn’t in the “Saint Pablo” artist’s vision. He called it “artistic limiting.”
Now there may be other venue organizers who may have adjusted to the star’s needs, but Goldenvoice wasn’t one of them. Mainly because changing the stage design would be inconvenient for the following acts. They basically told West to take it or leave it and Kanye decided to leave it.
That might be bad news for Yeezy fans, but on the bright side, they can look forward to a fourth baby West!
