Last week, Kanye West told ex-wife Kim Kardashian that he was “going away to get help.” According to Page Six, he is looking for a luxury behavioral treatment center.
A source close to the rapper told the outlet that West’s team is searching for a place with “a luxury component.” The source explained that “he wants to enter a behavioral treatment center to be a better human and a better dad.”
The source continued, “Kanye hasn’t agreed to a particular place yet because he is worried for his privacy and wants the place to be in a beautiful setting with a luxury component.”
West’s team has considered facilities in Thailand, Bali, and Arizona. The fashion mogul is committed to “a healthy co-parenting relationship” and plans to stay out of the public eye. He has also agreed to refrain from making social media statements.
West has displayed troublesome behavior in recent months, making controversial statements about Kardashian’s parenting and her boyfriend, Pete Davidson.
Page Six reports that West is once again taking his bipolar medication.
