Kanye West Rant

Kanye West has been working hard to get his presidential bid off of the ground. He has enlisted the help of several Republicans to help him get on the ballot. However, many are still not convinced that the rapper turned sneaker mogul is actually taking a chance at running the country.

On Thursday, Forbes took it upon themselves to get down to the bottom of West’s plans, contacting the 43-year-old via text. When asked if he was running for president, Ye pointed out that he was “walking,” not running “to win.” The publication then directly asked him whether or not his presidential run was intended to help friend Donald Trump win re-election, considering that it is mathematically impossible for him to secure the required 270 electoral votes.

West nonchalantly responded, “I’m not going to argue with you. Jesus is King,” a response which did not confirm nor deny the allegations.

However, It appears that West is still intending on making some efforts to win voters over. He revealed to Forbes that he plans on “designing a school within the next month” and that “I’m meeting with Betsy DeVos about the post-COVID curriculum.” However, the Secretary of Education’s press office has not confirmed these plans.

Forbes then asked West, who’s mental health has come into question in recent weeks if reports of his campaign receiving assistance from Trump supporters were true. However, Ye refused to say if he felt that he was being used.
