Kanye West has released a remix of Metro Boomin and Future’s “Like That,” escalating the ongoing drama in the hip-hop scene by targeting both Drake and J. Cole. The remix was first unveiled by Ye during a session captured in a video posted on Saturday (April 20) by The Download with Justin Laboy.

In his remix, West references the current beef between Drake and Kendrick Lamar, starting with a line that signals his support for Lamar: “Yo Dot, I got you.” This is a nod to the original “Like That” track by Lamar, which took aim at Drake and Cole, sparking the series of musical back-and-forths that have captivated the hip-hop community.

The lyrics of West’s remix boldly address the ongoing allegations against Diddy with the provocative line: “Can’t stop, won’t stop/I just fucked your bitch in a Sean John tank top.” West concludes his verse with unequivocal digs at his peers: “Y’all so out of sight, out of mind/I can’t even think of a Drake line/Play J. Cole, get the pussy dry.”

This remix surfaced just after Drake leveraged AI technology in his “Taylor Made Freestyle” diss track, which included AI-generated vocals of 2Pac and Snoop Dogg. This AI-enhanced track, released on Friday (April 19), followed Drake’s initial response to “Push Ups,” using artificial voices to amplify his own lyrical narrative against Kendrick Lamar.

In “Taylor Made Freestyle,” Drake also alludes to Taylor Swift’s new album and TDE boss Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith in his lyrics, suggesting a delay in Lamar’s response due to Swift’s release schedule: “But now we gotta wait a fucking week ’cause Taylor Swift is your new Top/And if you ’bout to drop, she gotta approve/This girl really ’bout to make you act like you not in a feud/She tailor-made your schedule with Ant, you out of the loop.”

Amid the intensifying feud, Drake expressed his frustration in a message to media personality Akademiks, stating: “Ak, you know I was trying to come off tour and relax. N-ggas done fucked up my whole feng shui. Now I gotta eat until this debate is done.”

Meanwhile, the rap world is bracing for Kendrick Lamar’s response, rumored to be as ferocious as 2Pac’s “Hit Em Up,” according to Joe Budden Podcast host Antwan “Ish” Marby. The anticipation builds as the hip-hop community awaits the next chapter in this high-stakes lyrical battle.
