Tensions online quickly followed Blueface’s recent boxing defeat, and his mother, Karlissa Saffold, had plenty to say after champion boxer Claressa Shields shared her thoughts on the fight.
Blueface lost his comeback bout to Chibu during Adin Ross’ Brand Risk boxing event in Miami, and the result sparked conversation across social media. Soon after the fight, undefeated boxing champion Claressa Shields weighed in on the performance and the broader trend of celebrities stepping into the ring.
Shields suggested that entertainers may need more time to properly prepare before competing in real fights. “Egypt loss her fight, blue face loss…I think these public figures need at least 6 months in the gym before they start fighting in real fights, my opinion,” she tweeted Sunday morning.

But Blueface’s mother did not appreciate the criticism.
Karlissa responded with a blunt message aimed directly at the boxing champion. “Tell Claressa to tell her man to fight bluefasebabyy or shut tf up with her funny lookin ssa tf,” she wrote.

She also expanded on her frustration in the caption of her Instagram post.
“She could have said something positive, knowing he just getting started. like she ain’t never lost,” Karlissa added.

The exchange quickly caught attention online as fans debated both sides of the situation. While some agreed with Shields’ point about training and preparation, others felt Karlissa was simply defending her son after a tough night in the ring.
For now, the online back-and-forth continues as Blueface’s loss remains a trending topic across social media.
