Chris Brown’s girlfriend, Karruche Tran is set to be the 2014 BET Awards red carpet live stream host this upcoming weekend. Karruche posted two photos via Instagram confirming reports that she will be hosting the award show this Sunday, June 29th, stating:
“Just wrapped promo for this Sunday’s BET Awards. I will be hosting the Red Carpet Live Stream! Catch me on BET.com 2PM Pacific/ 5PM EST”
It was reported by several sites, Karruche got the gig as a bonus by the network in efforts to coordinate a surprise performance by Chris Brown. Reports stated that the network and been scrambling to add Chris to the show since news of Chris Brown being released early from jail.
Karruche took to her twitter account early Tuesday, to clear the air stating reports were wrong but confirmed Chris Brown will be in attendance at the show. She tweeted Necole Bitchie stating: Well congrats to Karruche on your new gig.
