According to Daily Mail, the two were believed to have been dating since 2013, one year after Holmes divorced actor Tom Cruise. Sources say the divorce settlement had a clause that prevented Holmes from dating publicly for at least five years. Now, five years later, Holmes has finally gone public with her boo, after previously refusing to confirm the claims.
The couple sparked the rumors back in 2013 after they were spotted together at a charity event in the Hamptons. However, upon the release of the pictures, Foxx attempted to diffuse the rumors, saying they were “one hundred percent not true.” Although the two were rarely spotted together, the rumors persisted.
In 2015, the two were photographed holding hands, but the rumors were shut down once again. But in 2016, things began to heat up after Claudia Jordan confirmed the couple’s relationship. Although, the former Real Housewives of Atlanta star took back her comments, fans were not buying it.
Following the incident, the two were spotted at the same events, on several occasions. In May, the two were photographed boarding the same private jet. Finally all of the hiding and sneaking around has come to an end, as the conditions of her divorce settlement reportedly expired this past June.
On Monday, Foxx and Holmes were spotted at the beach on Monday, enjoying each other’s company. The two held hands as they walked along the beach in Malibu.
