Katt Williams is dealing with a very public family dispute. According to TMZ, people close to the comedian want him to get professional help and be hospitalized. Williams sees it very differently.
Williams told TMZ that his family has pushed for years to have him committed and that the latest effort is really about money. The push comes after a video surfaced of a confrontation between Williams and a 17 year old, according to the report. He also said he has let go of his entire team.
His family tells another story. A source close to Williams told TMZ that he is struggling and that things got so out of hand that police found him in an unusual state at his home earlier this month. Williams did not deny the scene, and he told TMZ it was part of his lifestyle.
Neither side has shared more beyond what was said to TMZ. We will update you if either side says more.
