Keke Palmer’s mother, Sharon, is defending her recorded phone call, where she is heard threatening Darius Jackson.
The full audio is a profanity-filled lashing, with mostly Sharon letting Jackson have it about allegedly abusing her daughter. In the call, Sharon threatened Jackson several times for harassing Palmer. However, it doesn’t seem that Sharon realizes she is being recorded, as she makes several references to Jackson being a homosexual and indicates at one point that she would pay someone to penetrate him. Nevertheless, Sharon says she was only trying to stand up to Jackson or Palmer.
“You will hear him being told to leave several times. The point where I am cussing came in after two minutes of him refusing to leave,” Sharon told RadarOnline. She also told the outlet that Jackson taped her call without her consent, which is a crime in California. This could be cause for a lawsuit or even criminal charges, which will only add to Jackson’s growing list of legal troubles.
The fitness instructor has been accused of physically abusing Palmer and even being rough with their infant son. Her accounts of abuse, compounded with surveillance footage that shows him allegedly attacking her, led a judge to grant Palmer sole physical and legal custody of their baby. Jackson is not allowed to see him, and there is also a restraining order against him, barring him from going near Palmer.
Jackson has maintained his innocence.
