Kendrick Lamar has finally responded to Drake’s “Push Ups“ diss track, and rap fans are losing it online.
On Tuesday, the California rapper unveiled “Euphoria“ on his YouTube channel. This move alone was satisfying, shutting down any potential talks of an AI-generated track, which has been an issue in recent weeks. One Los Angeles creator previously released a fake Lamar diss, which was completely fabricated. In the cut, Lamar made several claims against his former collaborator.
Lamar used multiple beats to fire at Aubrey, even alleging he issued a cease and desist on “Like That,“ which was featured on Future and Metro Boomin’s “We Don’t Trust You.“ In another line, Lamar aimed at Drake’s parenting, claiming, “I got a son to raise, but I can see you don’t know none about that.” He didn’t stop there, also going at J. Cole, who was recently on tour with Drake. Cole also snatched his “7 Minute Drill” from streaming platforms, even offering an apology for the Lamar diss track.
“There’s three goats left, and I see two of them kissin’ and huggin’ on stage,“ Lamar rapped.
Needless to say, social media erupted with reactions, many of which praised the Grammy Award winner for lyrically challenging Drake.
While Drake has not yet responded, it will surely only be a matter of time before the OVO founder has more words from his fellow GOAT.
