#KendrickLamar is now the first hip-hop artist besides #Eminem to have his album sit on the Billboard charts for over 300 weeks.

The Compton-native birthed his debut studio album “good kid, m.A.A.d. city” back in 2012. The project now sits at No. 116 on the Billboard 200 list and just passed the mark for its 300th week on the chart.

Kendrick’s album sits next to Eminem’s projects:  2010’s “Recovery” (312 weeks), 2002’s “The Eminem Show” (354 weeks) and 2005’s “Curtain Call: The Hits” (403 weeks.)

Altogether there have been 22 albums in other genres that have reached this plateau. The album that leads the race is #PinkFloyd’s iconic “The Dark Side of the Moon” (937 weeks) and following behind in second place is #BobMarley and the Wailers’ “Legend: The Best Of… a.k.a.”
