Kendu Isaacs got acclimated to a very luxurious lifestyle during the 13 years he was married to Mary J. Blige and he doesn’t want any of that to change now that the two are heading for splitsville. It was previously reported that Isaacs was requesting $130k in spousal support from Blige, but what he plans to do with the money is what has everyone raising their eye brows.
Isaacs was Mary’s manager up until she fired him shortly after filing for divorce. Now that he’s out of a job, and out of love, he wants to keep up his lavish lifestyle. Here’s a breakdown of what Isaacs is asking Blige to pay for.
Isaacs wants Mary to contribute:
- $5,000 to the child support he pays for the two children he had from a previous relationship
- $7,000 in rent
- $1,000 allowance for new clothes
- $8,000 for a private chef
- $3,200 for a personal trainer
- $5,000 he pays his parents each month
- $71,000 in rent he owes to several properties
- $21,677 he gives in charitable donations
- $100,000 for attorney fees
- $30,000 for his forensic accounting fees
The list goes on..
The real kicker is that Kendu and Mary J Blige signed a prenup that included a waiver of spousal support, when they wed in December 2003. However Kendu is arguing that the prenup should not be considered valid since he did not have a lawyer present when he signed and Blige did.
Mary has already paid Isaacs two spousal support payments totaling $85,000, which she shouldn’t have because now Isaacs believes this proves she ‘has her own reservations regarding the validity and enforcement’ of the prenup.
