If your TikTok For You Page has been flooded with women showing out in their best gym fits lately, you can thank KenTheMan. The Houston rapper’s 2026 single “Popular” has quietly become the soundtrack to a full-blown TikTok movement, and the lyrics driving all of it is simple: “Thick with it. Ain’t no Botox or no lip filler. Body looking like I jumped straight out the gym with it.”
The “Thick With It” challenge is exactly what it sounds like. Women are showing up on camera dripping in confidence, flaunting bodies they’ve put real work into, and letting the song do the rest of the talking.
@yelly.jay Me + the gym + @KenTheMan go together realllll badddddd 😮💨💪🏾 #workoutmotivation #gains #gymgirlies #gymlife ♬ Popular – KenTheMan
@allthingze Summa time thick! #over40 #fitwomen #thick #gymgirl @KenTheMan ♬ Popular – KenTheMan
What makes “Popular” work as a challenge song is that the lyrics aren’t just catchy, they’re aspirational in a specific way. KenTheMan isn’t rapping about being handed anything. She’s rapping about earning it: the body, the bag, the confidence to walk into any room and own it. “Went to Louie V, bought me a bag to put yo rent in it” hits different when it’s coming from a woman who’s clearly putting in the work on every level.
The song also has an edge to it that gives the challenge some attitude. “Hope you hating b***ches die slow cuz you can’t live with it” isn’t background noise, it’s the fuel.
KenTheMan has been building momentum in the rap space for a minute, known for lethal bars and a perspective that speaks directly to women who are done shrinking themselves.
The lyricist herself has taken notice to the trend, sharing a tribute to the ladies showing love to her viral song and writing, “My gym girls over there running it up on TT. #ThickWitIt.”
