Keyshia Cole has suffered another devastating loss with the death of her adoptive father, Leon Cole.
The “Love” star confirmed the news on Twitter when she responded to a fan’s tweet, expressing their condolences on the death of Mr. Cole.

Her complicated family dynamic was highlighted on her BET reality series, “Keyshia Cole: The Way It Is,” which aired from 2006 to 2008. Keyshia was candid with fans about her relationship with her adoptive parents, Leon and Dr. Yvonne Cole, who raised her after her mother, Frankie Lons, gave her up as a small child. On Friday, Yvonne posted a heartfelt Facebook status, revealing that Leon had passed away from complications related to his battle with COVID-19.
