Keyshia Cole is single, and she wants everybody to know she is at peace with it. The “Love” singer took to her Instagram story on Friday with a repost that read, “It’s peaceful when you’re not interested in anyone anymore.”
Underneath it, she typed out exactly where her head is at. “Currently cooking up the greatest rebrand of my life rn. Single. Happy. Focused,” she wrote, finishing the message with a white heart. She set the post to Fabolous’ “Selfish Freestyle,” which fit the mood.
Keyshia did not mention anyone by name, but her most recent public romance was with Philadelphia rapper Skrilla. The two sparked dating rumors in July after sharing intimate photos on Instagram, including one of Keyshia hugging Skrilla from behind as he took a mirror selfie, which she captioned “Yup.” Days later, she showed off roses, chocolates and a note reading “Love u beautiful. XOXO.”
Things looked even more serious on October 26, when Keyshia posted a photo of what appeared to be Skrilla’s back with “KEYSHIA” tattooed across it. “Ok !!!” she wrote, followed by “Let that be known.”
Less than two weeks later, she is announcing she is single. Neither Keyshia nor Skrilla has said anything publicly about a split, and her post does not explain what ended or when. It also does not say what the rebrand involves, whether that means new music, a business move or a fresh image.
Before Skrilla, Keyshia spent much of 2024 and 2025 in an on and off relationship with Atlanta rapper Hunxho, and she still has a tattoo of his real first name, Ibrahim, on her chest.
What she did make clear is that she is not looking. She is not entertaining anyone. She is focused on herself.
