Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson are pushing back against a woman who says he fathered her child.
According to Entertainment Tonight and E! News, the former couple’s attorney, Marty Singer, sent a cease and desist letter dated May 13 to Kimberly Alexander. The letter demands that she stop what it calls defamatory statements about Khloe and Tristan on social media and take down related posts.
Kimberly has publicly claimed that Tristan is the father of her child. The gossip site Gossip in the City posted what it described as paperwork from a DNA testing lab, along with messages it said were sent by Tristan and emails it said Kimberly received from her former attorney, Lisa Bloom. Those materials have not been independently verified.
Singer’s letter states that Tristan took a paternity test at a reputable lab and that it came back negative. The letter says Kimberly has continued to claim the results were falsified, and that Tristan agreed to take a second test as long as it is done by an AABB accredited lab. “It has been proven that Mr. Thompson is not the father of your child,” Singer wrote.
Gossip in the City also posted a letter in which Bloom’s firm told Kimberly it was unable to resolve her claims and could not represent her. Bloom declined to comment when contacted by E! News.
Neither ET nor E! News included a response from Kimberly in their reports. Khloe and Tristan share a daughter, True.
