Khloe no longer wants to be the only Kardashian without a baby, and according to reports, that’s the reason she’s giving Lamar the boot.
On Thursday it was announced that Khloe Kardashian was moving forward with her divorce. As you recall, she initially filed for divorce in December 2013. The divorce was nearing finalization before Khloe moved to have it dismissed in October 2015. According to Khloe, Lamar had just had a near death experience and didn’t need the added stress from the divorce. However, after she saw photos of Lamar boozing, she decided that it’s best to move forward with the divorce.
A source tells TMZ that Khloe wants children, but she can’t begin looking for a husband if she’s still married. Apparently Odom understands and is totally okay with that. “This was always the plan. The divorce has never been officially off,” an insider told People magazine. “Khloe was waiting for the timing to be right.” According to the source, Lamar’s recovery was the only reason Khloe stuck around.
The source says that Khloe doesn’t plan to cut Lamar off completely, she will still support him emotionally and financially. “She’s there for him and they’re in regular contact and she wishes him well,” a source told People. “She’ll always be there for him. But as far as their marriage is concerned, that’s over and has been for quite some time. It was time to make it official.”
During her separation, Khloe reportedly dated French Montana and James Harden. Previously she’s said that she wasn’t ready for anything serious. Could a hubby be on the way?
