A fan theory about Drake and Kim Kardashian took over social media at the end of August 2018, and Kim wasted no time responding.
The theory started with a 22 tweet thread posted on August 31 by Twitter user Tyler Morrison. The thread pointed to Drake’s song “KiKi, Do You Love Me,” Kim’s family nickname, and the fact that Drake and Kanye West live close to each other in California. The user also suggested the idea explained the sudden end of the public back and forth between Drake and Pusha T, who is signed to Kanye’s label. The thread opened with the line “Drake’s been telling us for months now he slept with Kim K, we just haven’t been listening.” It was a fan’s guess, and the thread did not include any proof.
Kim answered the theory directly. “Never happened. End of story,” she said, according to reports at the time. We have not seen a response from Drake.
The Drake and Kardashian Jenner family connection is not new. Back in 2013, photos of Drake and Kris Jenner together at his album release party got fans talking. Around that time, Drake was asked about the family and said Kris, whom he called “the queen of it all,” was his favorite, as Heavy reported. Since then he has shown up at a few family events and has name checked Kris in some of his music. None of that confirms anything beyond friendship, and neither Drake nor the family has said otherwise.
