Kim Kardashian’s Hidden Hills property became the center of a police response over the weekend after a man was arrested following an alleged burglary at the estate.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department confirmed that deputies responded to Kardashian’s Hidden Hills, California, property on Sunday, August 9. Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Deputy Tracy Koerner said authorities were called to a home in the 24800 block of Long Valley Road just before 4 p.m. after a man was seen loading several items into a vehicle at the property. Koerner confirmed that the man was arrested on suspicion of burglary and that no one was home during the incident.
According to TMZ, the man allegedly arrived at Kardashian’s estate while renovations were underway and forced his way through a door. The outlet reported that a security guard allegedly saw him taking items from the property and placing them inside a vehicle. TMZ’s sources said the suspect then drove a vehicle belonging to one of Kardashian’s staff members around the neighborhood. No one was injured during the incident and authorities found no weapons on the suspect. The outlet also reported that Kardashian and her children were not staying at the estate while construction work was taking place.
The Kim Kardashian burglary comes nearly a decade after one of the most frightening incidents of the reality star and entrepreneur’s public life.
Kardashian was tied up at gunpoint during a 2016 robbery in Paris in which thieves took her $4 million engagement ring along with other jewelry. The case finally reached a major legal conclusion in May 2025, when a French court convicted eight of the 10 people who stood trial for crimes directly connected to the robbery.
Following that verdict, Kardashian addressed the lasting impact of the Paris attack.
“I am deeply grateful to the French authorities for pursuing justice in this case. The crime was the most terrifying experience of my life, leaving a lasting impact on me and my family,” Kardashian said. “While I’ll never forget what happened, I believe in the power of growth and accountability and pray for healing for all.”
Kardashian had also traveled to Paris during the 2025 trial and testified about believing she was going to die during the 2016 robbery. Her testimony and the eventual convictions brought renewed attention to the security changes she made after the attack.
Sunday’s incident is considerably different based on everything authorities have released so far. The investigation remains active.
