In a recent interview, Jake Porter, the father of the late Kim Porter, has condemned Diddy over a disturbing video showing the music mogul attacking his ex-girlfriend Cassie.
During a phone interview with Rolling Stone, Jake Porter, a Vietnam War veteran, expressed his outrage over the footage. He stated that he wouldn’t even treat an enemy the way Diddy assaulted Cassie in the surveillance video. “I fought in the Vietnam War and would never treat my enemy the way Diddy viciously assaulted his ex-girlfriend Cassie in the surveillance footage,” Jake said.
As many know, Kim Porter was also one of Diddy’s girlfriends, dating him from 1994 to 2007 and sharing three children with him. Tragically, Kim passed away from pneumonia in her Los Angeles home in 2018. Reflecting on the video, Jake revealed, “I didn’t know Diddy could stoop that low,” referring to the footage from 2016 that shows Diddy kicking and dragging Cassie inside Century City’s now-defunct InterContinental Hotel.
“I imagine it surprised a lot of people. I wouldn’t even do a dog like that. My heart goes out to Cassie,” Jake added. He mentioned that his daughter Kim was deeply in love with Diddy but found it impossible to live with him under the same roof due to his behavior. Jake described Diddy as “a very jealous person” who doesn’t understand “what love is,” and emphasized that his main concern now is for his grandchildren.
