King Ba, described in reports as the boyfriend or ex boyfriend of Nia Guzman, the mother of Chris Brown’s daughter, has reportedly turned himself in on check fraud charges. Weeks earlier, reports said he was wanted by authorities.
According to police, he was wanted over checks totaling $5,000 that were allegedly forged and deposited into bank accounts, with money then withdrawn. After the case was publicized, Crime Stoppers Houston said on Twitter that it had received several tips. Reports say a tip did not lead to the arrest. Instead, he turned himself in after seeing his photo shared by Crime Stoppers.
He was reportedly booked and released on $5,000 bond. Charges are allegations, and he has not been convicted of anything.
When the story first surfaced, Guzman reportedly distanced herself from him, saying the two had split and had not been together in months.
