For the ladies looking to lock down Kofi Siriboe, that won’t be happening anytime soon.

The Ghanaian-American actor and model has embraced ethical non-monogamy, a relationship style based on open communication and consensuality rather than infidelity. Siriboe, who portrays the non-monogamous character Seth in the final season of “Harlem,” recently spoke with LEVEL Man about his personal shift toward ENM.

His decision stemmed from life changes after two long-term relationships. “I started working every day. Then there’s the fame element and the abundance of people and exposure,” he shared. “Sometimes, monogamy feels like role-playing… and it sometimes feels restrictive.”

While he respects monogamy’s tradition, Siriboe admitted to questioning its structure: “Why do we do it like this, and is this how I want to do it?”

In observing relationships—including his parents’—Siriboe noticed “blind spots” in monogamy, though he still values its simplicity. “I honor the tradition… we can still remain whole and true to ourselves as individuals.” His ultimate belief? People should choose relationships that genuinely align with their needs. “Whatever you do, just do it wholeheartedly.”

On-screen, his “Harlem” character Seth embodied this conviction, openly communicating his needs while dating Quinn Joseph (Grace Byers). However, when Joseph met one of Seth’s other girlfriends, she realized the arrangement wasn’t for her, leading to their breakup in the series finale.
