Kordell and Porsha Stewart are back in the headlines. A trailer for the sixth season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta on Bravo has made its way online, and Porsha’s comments in it about their marriage got a fast response from her estranged husband.
In the preview, Porsha suggested Kordell was not physically interested in her and said it made her wonder what he wanted. Kordell, a former NFL quarterback, filed for divorce in the spring of 2013 after about two years of marriage.
He responded in a statement to Rodney Ho of the Atlanta Journal Constitution, saying he is not gay and calling her remarks untrue. He also said he was ashamed of her and accused her of being willing to say anything for fame.
Kordell also shared a message on Instagram that read, “The saddest thing about betrayal is that it never comes from enemies.” His caption urged people to be careful about who they trust.
We had not seen a public response from Porsha to his statement at the time of this post. Season 6 of the show is still ahead, so there is likely more to come.
