Kylie Jenner’s Lip Kits have grown widely popular since its release. So much so, that the reality star’s line is constantly sold out.
However, according to sources, the Better Business Bureau is not pleased with the consumer satisfaction of the company. Apparently, the Bureau confronted the company last month, but the problems remain.
The consumer satisfaction rating has plummeted to an all-time low. In the last nine months, Kylie’s Cosmetics has racked up 137 customer complaints on the Better Business Bureau.
If you remember a few months ago, famed singer/make-up artist, Jeffree Star took to twitter to complain about the lip kit applicators, including pictures and suggestions.
“So I got the new @kyliecosmetics lip glosses…. SO disappointed in this product. That wand is unacceptable,” He wrote. “No shade but… How the f*ck can a multimillion dollar celebrity, think this is acceptable?? Was there no quality control?”
“So there’s my thoughts.. Take it how you want. I just hope she works harder on quality control and spends more time on future products.”
Subsequently, several fans followed suit by posting pictures of their damaged applicators. Jenner responded claiming to have changed the applicators. She also sent new ones to customers who received the old model.
Since then, sources say there have been even more issues. From security breaches to packages getting stolen or ransacked, as well as terrible customer service.
Apparently, a product alert has recently been issued alleging consumers who have paid for her new line of lip kits, have received empty boxes, Yahoo News reports.
“Currently the BBB is receiving multiple complaints from this company’s customers claiming that after ordering and paying for products, some or all of the products are not being shipped as expected,” the bureau wrote. “The company has informed the BBB that they confirm the weight of items shipped prior to shipping but they allege that because of highly-recognizable labeled packaging, containers are being opened and products removed.”
In the last week alone, according to TMZ, 10 people complained about service or delivery.
