An East Haven, Connecticut landlord was caught on camera entering a female tenant’s home and going through her and her daughter’s underwear.
The tenant suspected her landlord, Jorge Orellana-Arias, 38, was entering her home while she wasn’t there. She was inclined to place hidden cameras in her home and rooms after he went as far as using another door when he couldn’t get through a barricade she installed on one of her entrances.
In May, the tenant filed a police report that said that Jorge Orellana-Arias was entering her home without her permission and going through their clothing and underwear. He even entered the apartment when her daughter was home alone and immediately left when he saw she was there. Orellana-Arias also appeared to sniff a pair of underwear on camera.
Orellana-Arias was arrested and has since been released on a $25,000 bond. He faces charges including third-degree burglary and is scheduled to appear in court on September 14.
