Memphis rapper Yo Gotti was reportedly being looked at by police in connection with the shooting of fellow Memphis rapper Young Dolph, according to TMZ.
TMZ cites law enforcement sources who say both rappers were staying at the Loews Hotel in Hollywood on Tuesday and that their teams had a verbal argument before shots were fired outside the hotel. Unnamed witnesses at the scene also reportedly claimed Gotti was involved.
Gotti has not been charged with anything, and there has been no public statement from police backing up those claims.
Update: Later the same day, an LAPD spokesperson said Gotti is not a person of interest in the shooting. Police have since arrested a man in connection with the incident.
