Before going public with boyfriend Jeff Coby, Larsa Pippen had a bumpy detour in her dating life. On a recent episode of Angela Yee’s “Lip Service” podcast, the reality star revealed she once dated a 47-year-old NBA coach, and the relationship was far from mature.

“I dated a guy that was 47 years old, before I dated Jeff, and he was so immature,” Larsa admitted. Reflecting on their breakup, she recalled telling him, “‘There’s a reason I dated you,’ and he was like, ‘Why?’ And I was like, ‘Just to prove that age is nothing but a number, I’ll never date anyone like you again.’”
While she never named the ex, Larsa painted a picture of a man afraid of commitment who tried to win her over with gifts.
“At 47 years old, if you don’t know what you want, you’ve got issues,” she said.
Larsa, 51, has since moved on with 31-year-old Coby, a former pro basketball player. The couple, who went public in April 2025, have even started discussing engagement.
“He just has all the qualities that I really love,” she told People.
Previously married to NBA legend Scottie Pippen, Larsa finalized her divorce in 2021 and later made headlines dating Marcus Jordan, son of Michael Jordan. That relationship ended earlier this year.
