Larsa Pippen and Marcus Jordan have a new joint podcast, and they are spilling the tea about their whirlwind romance.
During Tuesday’s inaugural episode of the Separation Anxiety podcast, the former wife of Scottie Pippen and son of Michael Jordan spoke candidly about how they went from friends to lovers. The 48-year-old admitted that she initially wanted to keep their relationship a secret, not even wanting people to know when he would call her.
Pippen and Jordan met during a party four years ago. They sparked dating rumors in September 2022 after the two were spotted eating lunch together. In November of that same year, they were caught again having a beach day in Florida. In January 2023, the couple went Instagram official with a photo together at Marcus’ Trophy Room store in Orlando.
The “Real Housewives of Miami” star was so guarded about their relationship that she saved Jordan’s phone number under “Marc Jacobs” in her cell phone. Pippen was also apprehensive due to the history surrounding her ex-husband and Jordan’s father. Scottie Pippen and Michael Jordan played basketball together during their tenure with the Chicago Bulls. She initially felt that the relationship was “off limits.” It was also something she wasn’t willing to “go to war for” initially. But, for the younger Jordan, he says there was no backlash from his family, only shock that he was seeing the reality star. His father even approves.
Before the podcast launched, Pippen told KTLA 5 that people made a big deal of them hanging out once they began being witnessed out and about with one another. These days, the two are happier than ever and could care less who knows about it. Their love affair will be documented weekly on the “Separation Anxiety” podcast.
