Latto pulled up to Game 2 of the WNBA Finals in San Francisco wearing a pair of $3,950 Dsquared2 She Do Ski Boots, bringing one of the fashion house’s boldest Fall/Winter 2026 designs straight to the basketball court.
The Atlanta rapper attended the October 19 matchup between the Golden State Valkyries and Atlanta Dream at Chase Center, rocking an all-black ensemble with fitted leggings, a layered top, and a red baseball cap. However, her oversized designer boots were the centerpiece of the look.
According to Dsquared2’s official website, the She Do Boots retail for $3,950 and feature an unconventional suspended design inspired by traditional ski equipment. The footwear includes padded collars, adjustable logo straps, reinforced fastenings, and chunky soles with high-grip treads. The exaggerated construction gives the boots a futuristic appearance, making them look like something designed for the slopes rather than an everyday sidewalk.
The Dsquared2 ski boots made their runway debut on January 17, 2026, during the brand’s Fall/Winter 2026 presentation in Milan. Canadian twin designers Dean and Dan Caten transformed their runway into a snow-covered ski slope, introducing a collection inspired by alpine sports, winter gear, and the brand’s signature provocative aesthetic.
The collection blended technical sportswear with fashion-forward silhouettes, featuring oversized outerwear, ski-inspired bodysuits, and dramatic footwear. The She Do Ski Boot was among the designs that stood out for its unconventional construction.
Unlike traditional high heels, the boots feature an exaggerated curved structure that elevates the foot without a conventional exposed heel. The sculptural shape creates the appearance of a ski boot suspended above the ground, with oversized buckles and protective padding reinforcing the winter sports inspiration.
Dsquared2 also incorporated premium materials into the design. According to the brand’s official product description, the boots are constructed with calf leather, goat suede, polyurethane, and aluminum components. The Italian-made footwear features a cushioned interior and oversized sole, combining technical design elements with luxury craftsmanship.
The boots received a limited preorder release on January 23, 2026, just six days after appearing on the runway.
In a promotional announcement published that day, Dsquared2 described the She Do Ski Boot as a one-time release produced in strictly limited quantities. The brand informed customers that the original release would not be repeated once the available pairs sold out.
According to 10 Magazine, the initial release offered three colorways: a glossy fuchsia version, a deep bordeaux option with ochre accents, and the all-black design Latto wore courtside.
The fashion house expanded its promotional rollout in May when Hypebeast revealed additional details about the She Do Ski Boot and its companion design, the He Do2 Ski Boot.
Hypebeast reported that the collection was scheduled to arrive at select Japanese retailers during fall 2026, with the women’s She Do model carrying a retail price of ¥900,000 in Japan. The boots were positioned as collector-worthy luxury pieces rather than conventional winter footwear.
Dsquared2’s relationship with ski-inspired fashion also extends beyond this collection. FashionUnited reported that the brand introduced its first dedicated ski collection in 2016, expanding its offerings into winter sports apparel and alpine-inspired clothing.
Ten years later, the Fall/Winter 2026 collection revisited those influences through more experimental silhouettes. The She Do Ski Boot takes familiar equipment associated with skiing and transforms it into something meant to make a fashion statement.
Her appearance came during a major moment for women’s basketball. According to the WNBA, the Atlanta Dream defeated the Golden State Valkyries 79 to 65 in Game 2, tying the championship series at one game apiece. Angel Reese led Atlanta with 30 points and 16 rebounds.
While the basketball action unfolded, Latto brought a piece of Milan Fashion Week to the arena floor.
