As one of the most reputable business magazines, being recognized in a Forbes List is a pretty big deal. The magazine recently released their list of the highest paid athletes in the world, and three of their top ten entries are star NBA players. Golden State Warriors stars Kevin Durant, and Steph Curry both made top ten on the list alongside the LA Lakers star, LeBron James.
Kevin Durant holds the number ten spot with $65.4 million combined yearly earnings and endorsements. Steph Curry was ninth on the list bringing in $79.8 million, and LeBron James was placed eighth on the list with a total of $89 million earned last year. Each of these players are arguably the best in the league and are being highly compensated for their hard work on the court and massive popularity.
Overall, 35 NBA players made this list, including Russel Westbrook, James Harden, Chris Paul, Kyrie Irving, Carmelo Anthony, and Dwight Howard.
