Lil Durk and his record label are prepared to put up millions to secure his bail as he awaits trial in his murder-for-hire plot.

Several outlets have reported that the rapper is offering up two homes as well as $2.3 million in equity, while Sony Music has offered $1 million in cash. Despite the large amount, prosecutors are pushing for Durk to remain behind bars, claiming he is too dangerous to be freed. On Thursday, they supported these claims by revealing that Durk played a role in another murder-for-hire plot.

UPDATE: Lil Durk’s attorneys have filed a motion in L.A. asking for him to be released on home detention, secured by $2.3 million in equity in two homes in Georgia and $1 million in cash from Sony Music https://t.co/kWfBKVU2rv

The feds, meanwhile, reveal in a filing today that Lil Durk allegedly offered “a bounty to kill a family member of a witness.”

According to court documents, Durk allegedly offered money to anyone willing to avenge the death of his brother, Dontay  “DThang” Banks, who was killed outside of a nightclub in 2021. In 2023, a man named Stephon Mack was killed, allegedly at the urging of Durk. Mack was said to be a leader of the Smashville faction of the Gangster Disciples. A member of their crew is who was supposedly behind DThang’s death. Durk has not been charged with his murder.

As it stands, Durk only faces charges for the case related to him placing a bounty on Quando Rondo’s head. In a 2022 ambush, as OTF members carried out the hit, Rondo’s cousin, Lul Pab, was fatally shot. Videos of first responders pulling his lifeless body out of their vehicle spread quickly across social media, with Rondo seen having a meltdown at the scene.

Durk has pleaded not guilty.
