Lil Durk is now scheduled for a new trial date of October 14th, 2025, in his murder-for-hire case in Los Angeles, pushed back from the original trial date of January 7th, 2025.

According to court reporter Meghann Cuniff, the discovery process is extensive, with the prosecution revealing approximately 230 GB of digital evidence. This includes a mix of audio and video recordings, as well as surveillance footage that could play a critical role in the trial. Additionally, there are roughly 20,000 pages of reports detailing violent acts, witness statements, medical records, and photographs that are expected to shape the case.

New developments suggest that at least one of Durk’s codefendants may be considering a plea deal. Deandre Dontrell Wilson’s lawyer recently requested a “pre-plea sentence report” to determine Wilson’s criminal history category under U.S. Sentencing Guidelines. On December 27th, Judge Michael Fitzgerald ordered the preparation of the report, signaling potential movement toward a resolution for Wilson outside of a full trial.

Durk was taken into custody on October 17th near Miami International Airport. Authorities say he orchestrated a hit on rapper, Quando Rondo in retaliation for King Von’s murder. Sadly, Rondo’s cousin, Lul Pab was killed during that 2022 ambush.
