“I’m bout to be somebody lit-a** attorney. I can’t wait,” said #LilMo who will be going by her government name, Cynthia Dargan, very soon. The “Superwoman” singer announced via #Instagram that she will no longer be doing music and instead will be in the law books to become an attorney.

Her IG post read, “Today has been one of those days. I usually hold it all together. But when it’s so much going on inside it’s hard to suppress something you have been wanting to do. I’ve given 20 years plus to being Lil Mo. I’m going to give you all new music and a new TV show in 2019. We pushing for January.”

She continued, “Then after that, it’s time to be Cynthia Dargan. I’ve always wanted to be a lawyer! The time is now. I’ll use my influence to be great. Pray for my family and I. This is a decision I’ve been waiting to make but the time has come.”

It’s unclear where Lil’ Mo will attend law school or where she is in the application process but she did say it would take her at least 10 years to focus and get where she wants to be.

Congratulations and good luck to Lil’ Mo on her new journey!
