The MTV Video Music Awards are right around the corner and stars like #ArianaGrande, #TaylorSwift and #LilNasX are in the lead with nominations.
The nominees for the 2019 MTV VMAs have been announced, taking the lead is Ariana Grande and Taylor Swift with ten nominations, and #BillieEilis follows behind with nine and Lil Nas with eight. Others who were nominated include #KanyeWest, #TravisScott, #CardiB, #Solange, #ROSALÍA, #Drake, #FKAtwigs, #Lizzo, #BTS, #JBalvin, #AndersonPaak as well as #LadyGaga and more.
Video of the Year nominees includes #21Savage for “a lot” [ft. J. Cole], Billie Eilish for “bad guy,” Ariana Grande for “thank u, next,” Jonas Brothers for “Sucker,” Lil Nas X for “Old Town Road (Remix)” [ft. Billy Ray Cyrus] and Taylor Swift for “You Need to Calm Down.” #CardiB, Billie Eilish, Ariana Grande, #Halsey, #JonasBrothers, and #ShawnMendes are all up for “Artist of the Year.”
The nominations for “Best New Artist” which is presented by Taco Bell include #AvaMax, Billie Eilish, #HER., Lil Nas X, #Lizzo and ROSALÍA. This year’s VMAs will take place on August 26 and will air live from the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.
