Lil Uzi Vert found himself trending this weekend after news broke about a lawsuit filed by a former assistant.

The complaint, filed under the name Jane Doe, alleged harassment, sexual advances, and harsh working conditions while she worked for the rapper between 2022 and 2025.

According to the lawsuit, Doe claimed she was first hired after impressing Uzi while working at a Balenciaga store in Los Angeles.

Once on tour, she says she was expected to be on call 24/7, worked up to 30 hours straight at times, and even paid for work expenses out of her own pocket, including meals, Wi‑Fi during flights, and other travel costs. She also claimed that when she asked for reimbursement or overtime pay she was told she was only entitled to her base salary.

The complaint included alleged text messages from Uzi, such as “Come rub me down before you leave,” “Let me see that booty,” and “You are more than my assistant. You are my bitch.”

The suit also said that Uzi’s management and his company, UziVert LLC, and the management firm Roc Nation were complicit in the hostile work environment.

But here’s the twist, The Express Tribune reports that court documents show the case was dismissed last week after the plaintiff dropped the suit with prejudice, meaning it can’t be filed again. This dismissal officially ends the legal dispute, leaving no ongoing case against Lil Uzi Vert, his company, or Roc Nation.

So while online headlines painted a shocking picture of harassment and misconduct, the reality is that the legal fight is over and it ended quietly before many people even heard about it.
