Lil Uzi Vert took to social media to express to fans their desire to “breathe” amid personal struggles.
On Thursday, the rapper shared on Instagram that their relationship with City Girls rapper JT “isn’t in the best shape,” and he’s feeling “distant” from everyone.
In the comments, fans suggested that the ‘Just Wanna Rock’ rapper was attention-seeking.
However, they insisted they were just sharing their emotional struggles with their fans.
“I’m very stressed out and done with so many voices controlling my life,” Uzi posted to his IG Stories. “It’s like I never lived for me.” They also said, “I would give up all the money and perks that this comes with 2 live a perfectly normal life,” adding, “I’m okay with it.”
Also, in their post, Lil Uzi Vert shared a desire to release one more album while expressing the emotional toll they faced from being judged throughout their career.
“I’m not as close to my family as I should be. My relationship isn’t in the best shape,” Uzi stated before adding, “I JUST WANNA BREATHE.”
“I’ve been distant from everyone lately, even if they are standing right next to me,” he concluded.
Earlier this week, Uzi announced their plans to retire after the Luv Is Rage 3 Tour.
