OG Skittles lovers, we have news for you! The original flavor lineup is on its way back.

Fan-favorite candy maker, Mars Wrigley, is restoring the rainbow and bringing the lime-flavored Skittle back into the mix. The citrus-flavor Skittle was replaced with green apple in 2013. Back then, green apple had out-performed lime in taste tests.

“Green Apple has had a good run, but the fans have spoken and it’s time for lime to return to the rainbow,” Wrigley Senior Brand Manager Fernando Rodrigues said in a statement. “What better way to bring better moments to our loyal fans, than with the return of the most asked about flavor? The joy of Lime can’t be denied anymore. It is back. This time for good.”

Since getting the boot eight years ago, lime has returned for limited-run products, but now it’s here to stay.

The OG Skittles, which feature orange, lemon, lime, strawberry, and grape, will begin hitting shelves next month, with a national roll-out following.
